CISV Canada Peace Bus

November 2018 Peacebus update:

CISV Canada will be taking a year off from running the Peacebus programme; there will not be a Summer 2019 Peacebus.

At the Quarterly Board Meeting in (September 2018), the Board voted to take a break for the 2019 programme year, and to complete an evaluation with recommendations for the programme in 2020 and beyond.  At the National Board Meeting (November 12, 2018), the Board approved the 3.1 – Appendix 1 – ToR for Peace Bus Evaluation Working Group[1](PBEWG).

The PBEWG is tasked to evaluate the Peace Bus programme with reference to CISV https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/my-driveCanada’s strategic goals, and make recommendations for a sustainable model to support the Peace Bus programme.

We are calling upon interested members to take part in the working group to contribute to the evaluation process.

Stay tuned through late summer of 2019 and early fall to hear updates on future Peacebus adventures!
